Who we are

This website is operated by AIRLINER1 EUROPE LIMITED, trading as Aviate Training Technologies, company number 464056 ("we", "us"), 19 Colquhoun Avenue, Hillington Industrial Estate, Glasgow, G52 4BN, Scotland, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal information described below. You can reach us through the contact form or by phone on +44 (0)141 375 73 78.

What we collect and why

Enquiry forms. When you use our contact or callback forms we collect your name (required) and, if you choose to provide them, your organisation or location, email address, phone number and message. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and to conduct the resulting correspondence. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and taking steps prior to entering a contract.

Server logs. Like almost every website, our server records the IP address, browser type and pages requested for each visit. Logs are used for security and to keep the site running, and are routinely rotated and deleted.

Site preferences. Your light/dark theme choice is stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device and is not used to identify or track you.

We use no analytics, no advertising trackers and no marketing cookies. We do not send marketing mailings, we do not sell or share personal information, and we hold no payment details.

Embedded content from other services

A small number of pages embed content hosted by third parties: product videos hosted by Wistia, and a Google Map on our contact page. When you view those pages your browser connects to the provider, which may set its own cookies under its own policy (Wistia, Google).

How long we keep information

Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and to maintain ordinary business records, after which it is deleted. Server logs are kept for a short rolling period.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, ask us to restrict or object to its processing, and request a copy in a portable format. Contact us through the contact form or by phone and we will respond promptly. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes to this policy

Any changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated date above.
